The Role of a Talisman
Life is long and fraught with perils. The longer we live, the more we understand how precious and hard-worn peace and blessings are. In many moments of despair and uncertainty, we all need a touch of magic to ease our fears and ward off demons—this is the meaning of a talisman. It may be an object made of metal or wood, a piece of porcelain, or even an ordinary stone picked up by the roadside, a feather, or a pressed botanical specimen—in short, anything we choose to endow with supernatural power. It can be large or small, precious or plain. It can be stored at the bottom of a chest or enshrined upon a desk.

Types of Talismans
Recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Traditional Chinese Medicine uses natural herbs as remedies. It applies the Five Elements balance theory to clear blockages in the body’s meridians and achieve therapeutic goals.
The Soul of a Talisman
A talisman opens the door to a world woven from mystical symbols, beliefs, and interpretations. It is endowed with power through its imagery, material, form, and the history and aspirations it carries. It protects us from doubt and soothes our fear of the unknown. It bears witness to the long mountains and rivers we have journeyed through, and foretells the paths we have yet to travel. Perhaps it is, in essence, another version of ourselves that coexists in this world.
